Behavioural Activation is an evidence-based treatment for low mood and depression. It aims to combat low mood by increasing your activity levels, doing pleasurable activities and tasks/responsibilities you may have. Behavioural Activation focuses on your behaviourand environment by increasing your engagement in valued activities. This increases your chance of deriving pleasure and a sense of achievement from life. By doing this, it will hopefully reverse the cycle of depression.
This workbook has four steps. You need to work through one step at a time and only move onto the next step once you are completely comfortable with the previous step. Make sure to follow all the steps in order.
